Scope and contact
This notice covers visits to the Gelişim Kampüsü Preschool website and preliminary enquiries from parents or legal representatives. The online form does not complete school enrolment and does not replace separate information that may be needed for enrolment and educational services.
The school’s postal contact address is Cumhuriyet, Kaner Sokağı No:6, 34500 Büyükçekmece / İstanbul. General enquiries: [email protected]. The methods for exercising your KVKK rights are explained below.
What information is processed?
- The callback form collects the parent’s full name, phone number and child’s age, plus an optional email address, preferred call time and note.
- The enquiry record includes its submission time, request and reference numbers, interface language, callback choice and the version of the text for that choice.
- A programme message includes your selected programme and, where relevant, time slot. Passing this message to WhatsApp or email is separate from the callback form stored on the server.
- Server access logs may contain your IP address, requested page address, referring page and browser information. These are technical logs separate from the form’s enquiry record.
Purposes and legal grounds
Information is used to consider your enquiry, provide programme information relevant to the age group and your selection, make the requested response and track the enquiry. Each processing ground is limited to the purpose and necessity of that activity; one general permission does not cover every use.
If a separate activity requires explicit consent, its purpose must be explained and consent obtained separately. The callback choice concerns contact about your enquiry only. It is not permission for advertising or for every type of data use.
| Activity | Limits under Law No. 6698 |
|---|---|
| Preparing the preliminary discussion and programme information you request | Article 5(2)(c), to the extent directly related and necessary to establishing a contract. |
| Website security and preventing misuse or duplicate processing | Article 5(2)(f), where necessary and proportionate for legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights. |
| Handling legal requests and related records | Article 5(2)(ç) for a specific legal obligation; Article 5(2)(e) to establish, exercise or protect a right. |
Collection methods and recipients
Information you enter in forms is collected electronically; technical records arising from website use are collected automatically. Authorised school staff handling your enquiry and hosting, technical support, security and content delivery providers may process data relevant to their tasks. Disclosure to competent authorities is limited to valid requests and legal obligations.
Delivering website content and video through Cloudflare connects your browser to those services. Using services abroad may involve international personal data transfers. These require the separately applicable conditions in Article 9; visiting the website or selecting the callback checkbox does not itself provide a transfer safeguard.
Retention and deletion
Retention is determined by the time needed to assess and complete the enquiry, any specific legal duties and the need to protect a right. The purpose of each data category must be considered separately. This notice does not specify a fixed retention period or promise automatic deletion on a particular day.
When all grounds for processing cease, data must be erased, destroyed or anonymised, subject to statutory exceptions. You may submit a deletion request using the methods below.
Your rights under KVKK
- Find out whether your data is processed and request information about that processing.
- Learn its purposes, whether use is consistent with those purposes, and which third parties receive it in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, or erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7.
- Request that recipients be informed of corrections, erasure or destruction.
- Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How can you exercise your rights?
You may send a written request to Cumhuriyet, Kaner Sokağı No:6, 34500 Büyükçekmece / İstanbul. For general assistance, contact [email protected]. Electronic applications are subject to the conditions in the relevant Communiqué, including use of an email address previously supplied and registered in the system or a secure electronic signature.
Include information identifying you and the subject of your request. A representative’s authority may need to be verified. Applications under the Communiqué are submitted in Turkish. Do not enter identity documents or identity numbers in the school’s preliminary enquiry form; it is not a dedicated KVKK rights request system.
Requests are answered as soon as their nature allows and within 30 days at the latest. Processing is normally free; the Board’s tariff may apply where there is an additional cost. The final response is provided in writing or electronically. If your request is rejected, the response is inadequate or no timely response is given, you may complain to the Board within the time limits in Article 14.
